Westland Judo Club – Social Media & Website Policy (Photos and Names)
At Westland Judo Club, we take the privacy, safety, and well-being of our members — especially our junior members — very seriously. We understand that sharing club achievements online helps celebrate success, promote the club, and encourage new participants, but we are committed to doing this responsibly and with parental consent.
✅ We will never publish the full name or identifying details of any child alongside their photo on the website or social media without explicit parental consent.
✅ We will only post group photos or action shots where no individual child is singled out unless consent has been given by the parent or guardian.
✅ For children who are competing or achieving notable successes, we will seek parental consent before featuring them in any club news, whether online or in printed materials.
✅ Parents can change their mind, withdraw permission or request images to be edited, cropped or not used, by informing any of the staff.
✅ We will not tag or identify children on social media platforms or share personal details such as school, address, or contact information.
