Another brilliant weekend of competition for Westland Judo Club, with strong performances across both the junior, senior, and veteran categories at the Welsh Open.
On Saturday 4th October, Brad competed in both the Junior and Senior divisions at the Welsh Junior and Senior Open, achieving a fantastic Silver medal in the Juniors and Bronze in the Seniors. Along the way he added 10 more points toward his 3rd Dan and picked up valuable ranking points in what was a very competitive field.
Then, on Sunday, it was the turn of our veteran judoka — and they certainly delivered!
- Rick took Gold in his category,
- and Matt earned a well-deserved Silver, rounding off a great weekend for the club.
These results once again highlight the depth of talent within Westland Judo Club, from our emerging younger athletes to our experienced coaches and senior competitors.
